These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of PowerPCS (the "Service"), provided by Infisoft LLC ("Infisoft," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.
PowerPCS is a position control and headcount management tool. It helps organizations track positions, incumbents, budgets, and related HR data. PowerPCS is not a payroll, benefits, or HRIS system of record — it works alongside whatever systems you already use.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your organization to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials and any team members you invite secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Because billing is monthly with no long-term commitment, we don't generally offer refunds for partial months. If you were charged in error — a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, or something on our end — email us and we'll make it right.
You own the data you put into PowerPCS. We act on your instructions with respect to that data — we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train any product outside of PowerPCS itself.
You can export a complete copy of your data (positions, incumbents, and full history) as CSV at any time from within the Service. Your data is retained for as long as your account exists, including through a billing lapse — we do not delete it for nonpayment. If you'd like your account and data permanently deleted, contact us and we'll take care of it.
Employee ID (the Employee Number field on an incumbent record) is not a hidden or masked field — it's shown on-screen and included in CSV exports and reports, the same as name, position, and pay. We strongly recommend you do not use Social Security Numbers as employee IDs. PowerPCS does not have a field for Social Security Number and is not designed to store it; if a Social Security Number is entered into Employee ID or any other field, it will be treated, displayed, and exported like any other unmasked text.
Don't use the Service to store or process data you don't have the right to store, attempt to access another customer's data, interfere with the Service's operation, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
PowerPCS, its underlying software, and its branding belong to Infisoft LLC. These Terms don't transfer any ownership of the Service to you — only a right to use it as described here. You retain all rights to the data you enter.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate — you're responsible for verifying that outputs (budget calculations, reports, exports) meet your organization's needs before relying on them for compliance, audit, or financial reporting purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infisoft LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, even if advised of the possibility.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment beyond a reasonable grace period, or suspected fraud or abuse. Where practical, we'll give you notice and a chance to export your data first.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
